What is cold pressed dog food?
Cold pressed essentially means that the ingredients that go into the making of the food are mixed and literally pressed together, under pressure, into the desired pellet shape and size. While the pressure used in this process will create a level of heat, between 45 – 80ºC, it does not reach the much higher temperatures reached in the manufacture of regular extruded kibble dog food. 
The lower temperatures used in this process of cold pressed helps keep more of the nutritional values of the ingredients in the food, thus making it a more nutritionally dense feeding option. 
It is said that due to the way it is manufactures, cold pressed does not expand in the stomach, thus reducing the chances of bloat occurring in the dog.
